Diane Worthington – Bio
I have truly loved beads since I was old enough to pick them up. First is was poppy or pop it beads, then seed beads from the local 5&10 store we walked to. I was working on Native American bracelet styles before I was 10 years old. Fast forward, in between teaching at a public school, I had a stringing business, and finally settled on lampwork as my passion, with bead embroidery as my hobby. The one thing I have learned is seed beads can translate into any project I can imagine. I have been in several galleries, many bead shows over the past 25 years. I love teaching, the beginning of a class always leaves me feeling like the possibilities are endless.
